Steve Smith

Steve Smith is the Executive Vice President of Financial Operations for B. Riley Retail Solutions. He and his team develop sales and inventory reporting packages, complete weekly fee and expense settlements, and partner with our clients to certify compliance with our transaction agreements. He approves and completes all final reconciliations for each retail transaction.

Smith has 20 years of retail finance and transactional experience and has been involved in some of the largest liquidations ever completed. These liquidations collectively include billions of dollars in inventory across thousands of stores in multiple countries around the globe.

Prior to joining B. Riley, he held a similar position with another firm. He has also held retail management positions at two major retailers and throughout his career, has served as a board member or trustee for several not for profit organizations.
