PAUL CHABEN

As Director of Development on the B. Riley Valuation Advisory Team, Paul Chaben has a consultative and entrepreneurial mindset that creates a strong foundation for generating new business relationships, primarily in the realm of Financial Reporting, Real Estate, Risk Management, Enterprise Lifecycle Asset Management, and Tax services.

What heavily guides Chaben in business is contributing value to an organization not by seeking personal accolades, but rather by rewarding interaction with all stakeholders. Chaben's goal is to gain influence not through dominance but by building rapport, growing trust, and effective collaboration.

Before joining B. Riley Financial, Chaben spent 30 years in a similar Business Development role helping start-up and global Professional Service organizations achieve growth. Earlier in his career, Chaben worked in Big 8 accounting earning a CPA designation and as a Property Tax Manager for one of the largest real estate developers in the U.S.

Chaben holds a Masters in Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University.
