Biography

Robert ("Bob") Woolway is a Senior Managing Director with B. Riley Securities responsible for the firm's food and restaurant investment banking business.   He has over 30 years of investment banking experience and has executed a wide variety of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financing transactions initially at bulge bracket firms and more recently in the middle market.  


Prior to B. Riley, Mr. Woolway was a managing director of Trinity Capital where he focused on the food, beverage and restaurant industries. Previously, he was head of the Southwest region at J.P. Morgan and held senior investment banking positions at Merrill Lynch & Co. and Salomon Brothers.  


Mr. Woolway graduated from Harvard University with honors in economics and received a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller scholar. Bob has served on several corporate boards and has been involved as a board member of a number of non-profit organizations, including The Alliance for Children's Rights.
