Biography 

Nora Gilhooly is a Director at B. Riley Securities. She has nearly 20 years of investment banking and financial services experience. She has spent over a decade in investment banking alone and many years as a consumer products entrepreneur and consultant. She has executed a wide variety of transactions, including equity and debt recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, and equity/debt/municipal bond issuances cumulatively totaling over 40 billion dollars. Ms. Gilhooly began her career as an analyst at Credit Suisse and has held subsequent positions at ABN AMRO and UBS Investment Bank before pivoting her career to middle market. She has represented a wide range of clients across the consumer, retail, and industrials industries including food/beverage, personal care, sporting goods, industrial services, heavy equipment, manufacturers, HVAC , clean tech, and media & entertainment companies. She has extensive expertise advising start-up companies on their venture, Series A, and Series B, capital raises in the media, entertainment, and consumer products industries. In 2022, she was named a top woman in middle-market M&A by a leading national industry group.

Ms. Gilhooly holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an A.B. in Honors Government from Harvard College. She also received minors in the French and Spanish languages.
