Biography
Sean is a Managing Director at B. Riley Advisory Services, based in the Detroit, MI office, where he specializes in restructuring and turnaround engagements. He has 19 years of experience guiding companies through complex turnaround situations, restructurings, and debt refinancing.
Sean's clients span a range of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, distribution, consumer goods, and healthcare. His work supports organizations of various sizes—from family-owned, middle-market businesses to billion-dollar companies backed by private equity.
Prior to joining B. Riley, Sean was the co-leader of the Restructuring and Transformation team at Plante Moran. In that role, he helped companies address critical challenges, improve profit margins, and regain financial stability.
Sean is a past board member and former President of the Detroit Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and is a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
