Alex Shaffer is a Director in the Financial Institutions & FinTech and SPAC investment banking groups with B. Riley Securities. She joined the firm in 2013 and has 9 years of experience in capital raising, mergers & acquisitions and SPAC transactions. Prior to B. Riley, Ms. Shaffer held positions at FBR & Co.

She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The College of William and Mary.
