Chase A. Perry is a Managing Director of B. Riley Advisory Services and has over 25 years of experience providing financial and economic analysis in commercial disputes. He has issued expert reports and provided sworn testimony on a wide range of issues in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials, both in federal and state venues. He also assists with intellectual property management and monetization programs. Mr. Perry has been a member of the dispute advisory practices at public accounting firms and public and private consulting firms, and also has been a principal in patent monetization entities. • Evaluated economic damages in a trade secrets misappropriation / breach of employment contract matter in the home remodeling space. Issued an expert report on behalf of the defendant, a remodeling company, and testified in deposition regarding unjust enrichment damages based on defendant's profits and cost of replacement damages theories.

• Evaluated economic damages in a copyright infringement matter involving the music and motion picture industries. Issued an expert report on behalf of the defendant, an Internet service provider, regarding the appropriate statutory damages rates for alleged inducement of infringement and alleged violations of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act.

• Evaluated economic damages in a breach of contract / fraud matter in the education space. Issued an expert report on behalf of the plaintiff, a provider of customized Internet, telecom, IT and security solutions for academic institutions regarding lost profits and defendant's profits damages theories.

• Performed market studies and early case assessments and consulted on valuations for holders of technology covering 3D computer graphics, cargo ship engines, data cleaning/scrubbing, power generation control, and sound tuning/equalization technology, among others.

Mr. Perry is a Certified Leadership Professional with a JD from the University of Texas School of Law, an MBA in Finance and Economics from Southern Methodist University and a BA with Honors form University of Texas.
