Biography 

Igor Belov is a Director in the Restructuring Group with B. Riley Securities responsible for advising clients on rescue and special situation financings, Section 363 and other distressed and special situation company sales and acquisitions, debt amendments and in- and out-of-court creditor recovery strategies. He has nearly 30 years of experience in restructuring, capital markets and mergers & acquisitions spanning a broad array of sectors including business services, transportation and logistics, retail and consumer goods, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotech, and technology, media and telecom.

Mr. Belov had worked on multiple high-profile and industry award-winning transactions, including, among others, National Healthcare acquisition by Fresenius, Section 363 sales of deCODE Genetics and National Envelope, and Polaroid bankruptcy.

Prior to B. Riley, he held positions at the Restructuring Group of PwC (Director), Traxi LLC (Director), Berenson & Minella (Vice President), and the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Credit Suisse First Boston (Associate).

He is a FINRA Series 63 and 79 registered representative and holds an AIRA certification as a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. Mr. Belov received his BA degree from Moscow State University, his MBA degree from Wharton and was a James Madison Fellow at Princeton University.
