Biography
Matthew Spain is a Senior Managing Director with B. Riley Securities responsible for public and private company Mergers & Acquisitions. He has 28 years of Investment Banking experience advising clients in the Diversified Industrials, Industrial Technology, Business Services and Consumer sectors.
Mr. Spain has closed over 100 M&A transactions and has
been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as an Influential
Investment Banker.
Prior to B. Riley, he was Head of M&A for Friedman, Billings, Ramsey, Head of the Middle Market M&A Group for UBS, and Head of the Exclusive Sales Group for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Mr. Spain earned an MBA in Finance from the University of
Texas @ Austin and a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
