Biography
Phu Nguyen joined to B. Riley Advisory Services in 2021 as a Digital Investigations Consultant with more than 15 years of consulting experience in a range of industries and functions, and a current focus on eDiscovery, computer forensics, and data analytics. Mr. Nguyen has managed large-scale forensic preservation of computers and mobile devices in support of transition, eDiscovery, and investigative analysis. His analysis activities cover a variety of digital devices, storage media, servers, networks, and cloud-based services.
Prior to joining the firm, Phu was a Senior Manager at the Treliant, where he was responsible for all phases of litigation support including data collection, data extraction, and data processing. Prior to this, he was a Senior Associate at Deloitte, where he engaged in corporate investigatory and forensic processes. He was also engaged in two grading, attendance, and credit calculation investigations for the District of Columbia Public Schools and Prince George's County Public Schools. The investigations analyzed over 30 million rows of records using the SQL Server database management system to identify students who did not meet graduation requirements according to policy.
