Biography
William Wood is a Healthcare Equity Research Analyst with B. Riley Securities responsible for covering Smid-cap biotech companies within the cardiometabolic and neuroscience sectors, alongside covering within the MedTech space. He has 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, including eight peer reviewed publications.
Prior to B. Riley, he was an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Connecticut in the Department of Physiology and Neurobiology, and also worked at the University of Virginia.
He received his Ph.D in Cell Biology from the University of
Connecticut, where he conducted his Postdoctoral training, and received his
B.S. from Davidson College.
