Prior to joining B. Riley Advisory Services, Ry held positions with Lateral Investment Management, a private equity firm based in California, and with Sonoran Capital Advisors, a restructuring firm based Arizona.

Overall, Ry has over 6 years of restructuring, finance, portfolio operations, and turnaround experience in both the owner and financial advisor roles when working with companies.

Prior to joining B. Riley, Ry was involved as a financial advisor for the following distressed, and non-distressed engagements:

• A non-distressed, publicly-traded, private equity backed healthcare company where Ry created a detailed projections model and presentation among other services used in obtaining $40M in financing from a major "blue-chip" lender.
• A Puerto Rican airline who filed chapter 11 bankruptcy after being affected by Hurricane Maria that resulted in a successful §363 sale.
• Refrigerated trucking company in Salt Lake City to assess operational viability outside of court. Resulted in a successful turnaround and uncovering of fraud.
• Semi-conductor developer. Engaged to oversee wind-down of entity. A subsidiary of an Italian Aerospace company that filed chapter 11 that resulted in a successful plan of liquidation.
• As a member of the portfolio operations team at Lateral Investment Management, he oversaw reporting and KPIs, and assisted in financial modeling projections and board meeting materials for an operational sawmill.
