Biography
Eli Cattan is an Associate in the B. Riley Advisory Services valuation and litigation support practice. Eli has diversified experience in the financial services, technology, healthcare, real estate, telecommunications, and biotech industries. His extensive background in corporate financial advisory and his broad expertise allow him to provide advisory services that achieve a range of business and strategic objectives.
His business valuation experience includes purchase price allocation (ASC 805), goodwill impairment (ASC 350), business enterprise valuation (ASC 820), stock-option and stock compensation valuation (ASC 718 and IRC 409A), fairness opinions, portfolio valuation, audit-assist reviews of third party analyses and the valuation of various intangible assets (i.e., technology, relationships, trademark/trade names, etc.), estate and gift tax, and hard to value or unique assets utilizing various forms of the income, market and cost approaches. His experience also includes providing advisory services for strategic planning, buy and sell-side transactions, pre-acquisition due diligence, and working capital management.
Eli received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business. He is a member of the American Society of Appraisers.
