Biography
Irene Byela is an Associate Director with diverse experience in litigation support, restructuring services, and due diligence assignments. Irene's skills have been applied to the quantification of damages, fraud investigations, calculating complex waterfall distributions in real estate development disputes, financial modeling and analyses in corporate acquisition disputes, cash flow modeling in bankruptcy assignments and compliance analysis for corporate clients in regulated industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Irene was a lead analyst at a telecommunication and information consulting firm where she refined her analytic and research skills working in various specialty areas including tax compliance, tax accounting, audit defense, process improvement, tax mapping, and billing.
Irene has a strong educational background that enhances her work, including a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, Master of Professional Accounting, and MBA with a concentration in Business Intelligence and Cyber Security. In addition to English, her language skills include fluency in Ukrainian and Russian. In 2023, Irene authored an article for the Georgia Society of CPA's titled "What is Forensic Accounting?".
