Biography
Laura Clemente is an Associate Director at B. Riley Advisory Services with over 10 years of experience in forensic accounting, litigation support, cash management, and trustee, receivership & bankruptcy consulting. She has significant experience in funds tracing and analysis of cash flows in connection with most of her engagements.
As part of her role, she analyzes bank & brokerage statements and accounting records, traces cash and assets, summarizes and reports the sources and uses of funds, manages, maintains, and reports on the assets of various Trusts, Receiverships, and Bankruptcy Estates.

Forensic Engagements
- Investigated and quantified the nature and extent of International Ponzi schemes
- Investigated and quantified the nature and extent of fraudulent debt collection schemes on behalf of regulatory agencies including the FTC
- Corporate investigations regarding Partnership disputes alleging mismanagement or theft of funds
- Retained by Trusts regarding allegations of misuse of funds by the Trustee
- Retained by banks and other financial institutions to investigate and quantify the amount of embezzled funds
