Private Equity and Private Credit Leaders on the Move
Another year, another PE shift article to bring you the latest moves in Private Capital!
Following an election year, it's telling to see policy play a part in recruitment plans.
Arushi Sharma Frank joins Partners Group as a Senior Advisor for Distributed Energy, having previously served as Energy Markets Policy Lead & Senior Counsel at Tesla. In the same vein, Brad Bailey has joined KKR, having previously been SVP of Government Affairs at American Investment Council.
With the new administration taking control this month, it will be interesting to see if similar hires will be added at other firms in the coming months.
Elsewhere, demand for Technology Operating Partners and Advisors remains high with several new hires being made within the past couple of months in that area. Notable moves include Lawrence Miller joining Welsh Carson Anderson Stowe and Charles Bonomo moving to Platinum Equity.
On the investor side of the house, Apollo and Blackstone lead the way with incoming talent in both private credit and private equity.

Jim Kingsbury has joined Francisco Partners as Operating Partner. Jim previously served as a Marketing Advisor at HIG Capital.
Jeff Coursen has joined Great Hill Partners as Advisor to ATSG/Evolve IP, transitioning from his role as CEO at Evolve IP.
Matt Mongia has joined H.I.G. Capital as Senior Advisor, having previously been Managing Director, Private Capital, at Cresset Partners.
Yash Patel has joined Nordic Capital as Manager, Portfolio Operations, transitioning from his role as Strategy and Operations Lead at Cloud Health Systems.

Anyi Lee has joined Apollo Global Management as Managing Director, moving from her role as Managing Director at Blackstone.
Stefan Schmitz has joined Barings as Managing Director, making the switch from Gallatin Point Capital where he was a Managing Director.
Jack Ervasti has joined Blackstone as Managing Director, moving from his role as Director at KKR.
Emmanuel Bello has joined Blue Owl Capital as Principal, having previously served as Vice President at Owl Rock Capital.
Anna Fritz has joined Barings as Managing Director. Anna was previously at Blackstone where she was a Managing Director.
Michael Gaffney has joined Blackstone as Principal, moving from his role as Vice President, Investment Banking, at Barclays.
Chris Tuffin has joined Cortec Group as Managing Director, transitioning from his role as Partner at Arbor Investments.
