Peter Tufo is a Principal at B. Riley Principal Investments where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing investments in the lower middle market, with a focus on family-owned businesses.

Prior to joining B. Riley, Tufo founded Flat Creek Holdings, where he focused on developing lower middle market platform investments in the Mountain West. While at Flat Creek, Tufo led the sourcing, diligence, financing, and operations for multiple acquisitions within the transportation space. Prior to Flat Creek, he held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Faherty Brand and Finance Director at Teton Gravity Research. He began his career in the restructuring advisory group at Lazard Freres.

Tufo holds an AB in Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
